in the Newport Beach area.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
T. Jefferson Parker was born in Los Angeles and has lived his life in Southern California. He is the author of nineteen crime novels, including the Edgar-winning Silent Joe, and California Girl. His first book, Laguna Heat, was adapted for film on HBO. His latest novel, The Famous and The Dead, is scheduled for release in April of 2013 and will make its debut at the literacy luncheon.
